Meet our team
We are three enthusiastic kids from Class 5-A of Amity International School, excited about solving real-world problems with technology. Ayaan Agrawal is a table tennis player and an avid learner, Mudita Verma is a dedicated karate player who believes in hard work, and Drishita Baloni is a basketball player with great creativity. Under the guidance of respected Chairperson ma’am Amita Chauhan and our Vasudha head Monika Kakkar Ma’am, we have explored new ideas through science, believing that young minds like ours can make the world a better and safer place.

About the Project
Problem Statement
In India, many roads are in bad condition. Potholes, cracks, and uneven surfaces are common. These poor road conditions cause many traffic accidents every year. Authorities find it hard to monitor and maintain roads properly due to the large number of roads and limited resources..
Innovative Solution
-
- Drones fly over the roads and capture high-resolution images.
- The images are processed and analyzed using AI to detect damage.
- The data can be used to prioritize repairs and send alerts to drivers about dangerous sections.
- The collected data can also be used as a report by third parties to validate the performance of the company in charge of maintaining the road.
- Authorities use this report to prioritize and carry out maintenance.
Benefits of Solution
Using drones for road inspections has many benefits:
-
- It increases efficiency and accuracy in detecting road damage.
- It allows real-time monitoring and faster response to repair needs.
- It saves costs on road maintenance and reduces accidents
Project’s Limitations
There are some challenges in implementing this solution:
-
- Technical issues, like drone malfunctions.
- Regulatory hurdles for drone flights.
- Logistical challenges in covering large areas.
But these challenges can be managed with proper planning and support
